This application also contains a utility to turn your iPhone into tracking device which will help you to cut your cost of purchasing a vehicle tracker and instead use iPhone for tracking purposes. This application is absolutely free and intend to help users with free fleet management solutions. Note: This application uses continuous use of the GPS chip in the background to store locations where the mobile is being taken and send those locations via GPRS or WiFi to the application server. This entails the mobile phone to be used in a dedicated tracking mode for security purposes. Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
